I am an arbitrator with particular experience in Middle East construction and infrastructure disputes, having spent 12 years based in Dubai. I have sat as an arbitrator (sole, party-appointed, and as President of a tribunal) under the DIAC, DIFC-LCIA and ICC rules on construction and infrastructure matters, including power, oil & gas, transport and telecoms projects across the Gulf, and have twice sat as an emergency arbitrator.

With over 32 years of legal experience, including 11 years in Hong Kong and time in Japan and Malaysia, I was the Global Head of the Construction and Infrastructure Disputes team at the international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills LLP. 

I now work exclusively as an arbitrator, and am recommended by Lexology in the fields of arbitration, construction and commercial mediation.
